Our in-house shop drawing service gives us the capability to take your project from plans to completion and means we understand every aspect of the design at each stage of the build.

Experienced in all aspects of structural steel fabrication and installation, Structel is trusted by some of New Zealand’s biggest commercial construction firms to bring their projects to life.

QUALITY ASSURED

Our trade qualified in-house engineers fabricate structural steel to a high standard, using our robust QA system that is SCNZ-CC3 certified.

Our site install crew have years of experience installing complex structures and carry all necessary dogman, EWP and Site Safe certifications, operating with the same SCNZ-CC3 certified QA system as our engineers.

We work with our clients as an integral part of the project team and this means the way we approach our work is different – from the quoting stage right through the construction process.

Our clients know our prices and stated timelines are reasonable and realistic from the beginning, and this is just one of the ways we avoid charging variations. We also maintain a close working relationship with other contractors involved in the project – then as inevitable minor issues arise we work collaboratively on a solution in a timely way, avoiding bigger problems.

We are small enough to be flexible. Our site foreman and project managers are available 24/7, so if there are night works and we need to be onsite, we’ll be there.

ABOUT US

With over 30 years in the industry in both New Zealand and abroad, Structel know what works and what doesn’t - both when it comes to structural steel engineering and how to run a successful construction project.

In our drive to create a structural engineering company known for personal service and honesty, we have built a team that can take a project from the drawing stage to completion on time and at a fair price. Our tight-knit team of 20 includes full-time staff, qualified engineers, apprentices and project managers. Our reputation and relationships in the industry mean we have quality sub-contractors to call on for bigger projects if required.
